![]() Receives $1,000 Scholarship
LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 18, 2007 — Audrie Koester, daughter of Duane and Zelda Koester of Wadesville, IN, was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the KABA/Select Sires, Inc. board of directors.
This fall Audrie will be enrolled at the Purdue University as a freshman majoring in Agriculture Communications with a minor in Broadcasting and Graphic Design. Audrie had a strong application, which includes involvement in the fourth generation family dairy, ten year membership in 4-H, local, state and national dairy judging teams, 2007 Indiana Holstein Dairy Princess and many other activities involving her school clubs, musicals and plays.
Next fall, she plans to attend Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana with the hopes of becoming a news anchor for a local station. She also plans to freelance on agricultural related graphic design projects.
